There are currently 4 stock exchanges for companies doing business in or related to Second Life. They are the World Stock Exchange, AVIX, International Stock Exchange and Metaverse Stock Exchange.

Of the 4 Stock Exchanges, World Stock Exchange is more promising. Creating an account with WSE is free and simply.

1) Make sure you have an account at Second Life and then download the software provided by Linden Lab, a trademark of Linden Research Inc.

2) Visit WSE in world ATM at Hope Capital (209, 127, 23) and say “reset password”. The first time you do this, it will set up a WSE account for you and give you a temporary password, which you can then login and change.

3) You now have an active account, and can deposit funds, withdraw funds and use the WSE trading platform.

4) To deposit money into the WSE ATM simply right click on the ATM and select Pay then click or type the amount you wish to deposit into your account.

5) To withdraw money from your WSE trading account you will need to teleport to a WSE ATM and type the following command: withdraw amount, where “amount” is the amount you want to withdraw.

As with Real Life Stock Exchange, do you research before you decide to buy any stock. Investing in stock trading in WSE can be very risky but rewards can be very high as well. My advice is to invest what you can afford to lose.
