Annika Sörenstam, born on 9th October 1970, is a Swedish professional golfer

Last Sunday, Annika Sorenstam won her 72nd golf title of her career and announced her early retirement, at the end of the seaseon, from competitive golf after 15 years on the LPGA circuit.

This season, Annika Sorenstam, has three wins and is currently No. 2 in the rankings, trailing Lorena Ochoa, after struggling for most of 2007 while recovering from neck and back injuries.
