Heather Stohler | Daniel Risley

Heather Stohler, 29, former Calvin Klein model, and her boyfriend Daniel Risley, 26, have both died from a fire at her Vincennes, Indiana apartment on Sunday, May 11th. Heather passed away on Sunday while Daniel died on Tuesday.

Investigators had determined that the cause of fire was in the kitchen. A few frying pans and skillets were left on the stove burners. The apartment had no working smoke detectors. Apparently, the couple did not smell smoke before the fire consumed the unit.

She died of smoke inhalation after she and her boyfriend, Daniel Risley were pulled from the burning building and were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Daniel Risley suffered substantial burns and died in the early hours of Tuesday morning, May 13th. Fire officials indicate that the fire may have originated with pans left on the kitchen stove.

Heather Stohler whose real name was Heather Arrick. She joined the Elite Model Management and Ford Models agencies and was later represented by Donald Trump Management.

She modeled for 10 years and did work for the Calvin Klein alongside supermodel such as Kate Moss. She appeared on the cover of Vogue Italy and also modeled in Europe.

The 29 year old is survived by her parents.
