Bikini Car Wash Back in Business

The Bikini Car Wash which is located at the intersection of South Flores and Southcross of San Antonio, opened on 5th May, but was ordered to closed down 4 days later after city officials found problems with the drainage.

Ricardo Arsate, owner of Bikini Car Wash, said that he made all the necessary improvements and the city reissued his certificate of occupancy.

The Bikini Car Wash is now back in business and will reopen friday 16th May 2008 at 10:00 am.

Many people believe the women’s outfits are too revealing, especially since the car wash is near a church and school.

“It’s very visible. It’s open to the public,” said Ricardo Arsate. “They suggested a privacy fence, and I said I better not because they’re going to say ‘what are they hiding.’ I’m not hiding anything.”
