Jeff Peckman, Colorado’s favorite nut who lives with his parents at age 54, wants Denver city council to form an Extra-Terrestrial Affairs Committee.
The reason is he has a video that proves aliens exist.
“It shows an extraterrestrial’s head popping up outside of a window at night, looking in the window, that’s visible through an infrared camera,” he said. The alien is about 4 feet tall and can be seen blinking, Peckman said this month.
In a statement, Peckman said “other related credible evidence” proving aliens exist will be shown at Friday’s news conference, too

Today Google celebrates the first ascent of man on Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain.
Mount Everest, which stands at 8848metres, was first conquered by Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay at 11:30 am May 29, 1953. The pair were part of a two pair expedition aiming to conquer the peak.
Tom Bourdillon and Charles Evans, the first pair, came to within 100 meters of the summit but had to turn back due to exhaustion. Their work wasn’t in vain though, as their route finding and trail breaking paved the way for Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay.
Tenzing Norgay revealed that Edmund Hillary was the first to actually put his foot on the summit.

Sharon Stone, the “Basic Instinct” actress, said the devastating earthquake in China might have been “karma” for the Communist nation’s treatment of Tibet and the Dalai Lama, during a red-carpet interview at the Cannes Film Festival Thursday.
“I’m not happy about the way that the Chinese are treating the Tibetans because I don’t think anyone should be unkind to anyone else, and so I have been very concerned about how to think and what to do because I don’t like that.” she told reporters at Cannes.
“China is not being nice to the Dalai Lama, who’s a good friend of mine. Then all this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and I thought, is that karma? When you’re not nice, that the bad things happen to you?” said the 50-year-old star.
However, when she got a letter from the Tibetan Foundation saying the organization wanted to be helpful to the quake victims, she said “That made me cry. Sometimes you have to learn to put your head down and be of service, even to people who aren’t nice to you. That’s a big lesson for me.”

Michelle Malkin, Fox News commentator, complained the fringed black-and-white scarf that Rachael Ray, the celebrity chef, wore in the ad offers symbolic support for Muslim extremism and terrorism.
Dunkin’ Donuts said it has stopped running an online advertisement featuring Rachael Ray.
According to Malkin’s syndicated column at Townhall.com:
The keffiyeh, for the clueless, is the traditional scarf of Arab men that has come to symbolize murderous Palestinian jihad. Popularized by Yasser Arafat and a regular adornment of Muslim terrorists appearing in beheading and hostage-taking videos, the apparel has been mainstreamed by both ignorant (and not so ignorant) fashion designers, celebrities and left-wing icons.

Russell Simon Jr., a convicted felon who became a motivational speaker who used his life experiences to warn teens about the dangers of drugs and crime, is accused of going on a bender, threatening to kill his girlfriend and her son, and smashing a former prison buddy in the face with a statue of John Wayne.
“At one point Simon hit the man in the face with the John Wayne statue. Simon forced his girlfriend to perform oral sex on him while he had his gun nearby and threatened to kill her and her 9-year-old son. At least six shots were fired, one grazing the woman’s arm.” the complaint said.
“It sounds like Russell ended up going back into drugs, and it leads you down that kind of path where you do things that you normally wouldn’t do. He’s going to end up right back where he started,” said Vicki Langemo, a prevention counselor who thought highly of Simon after hearing him speak years ago. Langemo added: “I’m just very sad to hear that those are the choices he made.”

Bruce Grimes was attacked by a shark in the sea off Zihuatanejo, Mexico. This is the third shark attacks on surfers in less than 1 month. Two other surfers, one from Mexico and one from the States, were both fatally attacked in the same area earlier this year.
Bruce Grimes, 49, said that he was with a group of surfers when he felt something touch his surf board. He swam 5 strokes and felt the shark bite into his arm. He shouted a warning, pulled his arm away and swam for his life, back to shore. He managed to escape with only five cuts on his right forearm.
“I felt something brush past me three times, scraping my skin like sandpaper. Then I saw a three-meter (10-foot) shark attacking my right arm,” Bruce Grimes, 49, from Florida, told reporters after leaving hospital Saturday.
On Friday, May 23, Mexican Osvaldo Mata, a nearby university student was killed by a shark at Zihuatanejo area, north of Acapulco.
A few weeks ago, another surfer was killed at another neighboring beach.
The shark attacks have affected locals and tourists. People were afraid to get into the water.
