Maybach 62 S, the most powerful chauffeur-driven saloon in series production, is powered by a twin-turbocharged 612-horsepower V12, the same 6.0-liter engine offered in the Maybach 57 S as well as the Mercedes-Benz CL65, and S65 and SL65.

The “S” stands for “Special”.
