Jamie Lynn Spears, the younger sister of pop star Britney Spears, gave birth to baby girl, Maddie Briann, at a hospital in Mississippi, near her Louisiana hometown. She weighed 7 lbs., 11 ounces.

Sister Britney Spears, father Jamie Spears and brother Bryan Spears all flew in Wednesday to be with her for the birth.

Casey Aldridge, the baby’s father, and Jamie Lynn Spears are engaged but have delayed their marriage until after the birth.
