PS3 update 2.40 will include “XMB” access in-game and also include “trophies,” an exciting new feature, as well as some other new enhancements.
This is confirmed by Eric Lempel, Director of PlayStation Network Operations, at Sony’s official PlayStation blog
PS3 firmware update 2.40 is expected to be released soon, but there are rumours that it will be delayed till July 2008.
