Christie Brinkley Settles Divorce Case

After a long night, Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook has reached a divorce settlement at about 6 a.m.

Under terms of the divorce settlement, Peter Cook gets $2.1 million and parenting time while Christie Brinkley gets full custody of their children, Jack, 13, whom Cook adopted, and Sailor, 10 and keeps all their properties.

“I’m really glad today that we found some peace. It’s a very bittersweet moment. It really is the death of the marriage.” said Christie Brinkley.

Peter Cook, a former model turned architect, said he was pleased with the terms of the settlement. “I got everything I’ve been wanting for two years,” he said.

Christie Brinkley filed for divorce in 2006 after learning Peter Cook, Brinkley’s fourth husband, had an affair with an 18-year-old woman.
