Our oldest son, who graduated from college recently, is considering a wonderful  job offer. His dad and I are trying to be supportive, but it’s hard sometimes. I have planned a vacation for the start of next year and I think I want to take three weeks off, I cannot really take more than that due to limited vacation time but I am happy just to have the three weeks. 

I have been looking at heading to Latin America, specifically South America travel looks really intriguing to me, so many countries and cultures to see I am not sure how many of them I can do with only three weeks but so far I want to do Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. People say I was hammered out but no not really light weighted out, all this happened at the end. I kind of, sort of passed out in a toilet cubicle, and then when someone shouted me I came around and left (as it was kicking out time). But outside I was bleary eyed, and I am told a paramedic asked if he should take me away. Which is shameful really as I’m always the one looking after others. Im quite a good drunk as standard. I was unsure of what to get my dad for Father’s Day, so my mom suggested that I buy him a new scope for his hunting rifle. She said that he has been talking about getting one for several weeks now. I went to a popular sporting goods store that I knew sold rifle scopes and made my purchase. When Father’s Day rolled around, I wrapped it up and gave it to my dad. I could tell by the look on his face that he loved it.
