St. Louis police were on hand to ensure the riders wore the bare minimum, which included thongs, pasties, loin cloths, bathing suits and even body painting.
The ride has been staged in 70 cities worldwide since 2004.

Werder Bremen midfielder Diego broke the deadlock in the 20th minute with a goal from just outside the penalty box after receiving a flick from Ronaldinho.
Seven minutes later, Diego’s delicate chip caused confusion in the Singapore area and AC Milan star Ronaldinho made his mark with a close range effort to take his side up 2-0.
Manchester City left-footed Brazilian forward Jo made it 3-0 in the 84th with a header.
Brazil defender Alex Silva was sent off in the closing minutes of the match for stomping on Singapore’s Qiu Li.
Matt Jones, former Razorback, was arrested early Thursday on a felony drug charge after police allegedly caught him in a vehicle with cocaine.
A police report says officers approached the car and found Matt Jones inside, using a credit card to chop up a white substance. An officer drew his handgun after Matt Jones did not immediately show his hands. They found a jar with possible marijuana residue inside the car and a plastic bag of what was likely cocaine. Officers say Matt Jones admitted he had cocaine.
Jared Hicks, also a former Razorback and Benjamin Cook who were inside the car, were also arrested on misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Formula One points leader Ferrari’s Felipe Massa set the pace despite crashing out during the first practice session for Sunday’s British Grand Prix.
Massa, the Brazilian who leads the Formula One standings by two points, climbed out of his car a few minutes after the crash and did not appear to be hurt.
He already had posted the fastest time in the first practice of 1 minute, 19.575 seconds when he spun on some oil at the end of the fastest straight of the Silverstone circuit.
His car spun 180 degrees and went into the safety wall backward, damaging the rear.
McLaren’s Heikki Kovalainen crossing the finish line 0.012 slower. McLaren teammate Lewis Hamilton was third, 0.048 behind.
Dara Torres, 41 year old and with a 2-year-old daughter, completed her improbable Olympic comeback, making the U.S. team for the fifth time by winning the 100-meter freestyle at the U.S. Olympic trials.
Dara Torres got off to a blazing start and guarded her lead on the furious return lap to win in 53.78, beating out Natalie Coughlin’s 53.83.
Dara Torres, who made her Olympic debut at the 1984 Los Angeles Games, has twice retired from competitive swimming. She is the first U.S. swimmer to make five Olympic teams.
“I’m ecstatic. I can’t believe it,” Torres said. “It’s sort of bittersweet for me because I’ve made my fifth Olympic team, but I’m going to be away from my daughter for a month and that’s really hard emotionally. But I’m happy to be going to Beijing.”
Torres calls resistance stretching her “secret weapon.” Bob Cooley, who invented the discipline, describes it in less-modest terms. According to Cooley, over a two-week period in 1999, his flexibility system turned Torres “from being an alternate on the relay team to the fastest swimmer in America.” The secret to Torres’s speed, Cooley says, is that his technique not only makes her muscles more flexible but also increases their ability to shorten more completely, and when muscles shorten more completely, they produce greater power and speed. “What do race-car drivers do when they want to go faster?” Cooley asks. “They don’t spend more hours driving around the track. They increase the biomechanics of the car. And that’s what resistance flexibility is doing for Dara - increasing her biomechanics.”

Chelsea signed Deco, the 30-year-old Portugal’s Brazilian-born playmaker, from Barcelona on Monday, the day before Brazilian Luiz Felipe Scolari takes over as coach of the Premier League side.
Deco won the Champions League title with Porto in 2004 under Jose Mourinho and then with Barcelona in 2006.
Deco, aka Magico, started his career with Brazilian club Corinthians, before moving to Portugal in 1999. He won three Portuguese titles as well as the UEFA Cup and Champions League before moving to Barcelona in 2004.
“I am sure I have come at the right time to do great things and help Chelsea go back to the way it was and come back to being the first one not only in England but also in the champions League which has been a dream for so long,” Deco quoted on Chelsea web site.
Floyd Landis lost his final doping appeal to retain his 2006 Tour de France title.
The 3 person panel at CAS, aka Court of Arbitration for Sport, upheld a previous panel’s decision, ruling his positive doping test during the 2006 Tour de France was, indeed, valid.
Floyd Landis must pay $100,000 toward the legal fees of the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency.
“I am saddened by today’s decision,” Floyd Landis said in a statement. “I am looking into my legal options and deciding on the best way to proceed.”
The decision comes just six days before the start of the 2008 Tour de France.
Floyd Landis won the 2006 edition after a stunning comeback in Stage 17, a rally that turned out to be fueled by synthetic testosterone.
“We are pleased that justice was served and that Mr. Landis was not able to escape the consequences of his doping or his effort to attack those who protect the rights of clean athletes,” said USADA chief executive officer Travis Tygart.
The ruling upholds Floyd Landis’ 2 years ban from cycling, which is due to end Jan. 29, 2009.
The winning goal is scored by Spanish Liverpool striker Fernando Torres at 33 mins of the Final match between Germany and Spain.
As mentioned in the previous post, Michael Ballack has never been a winner in major tournaments like 2002 Champions League Final, 2002 World Cup Final, 2008 Champions League Final, 2008 English League Cup Final. It’s probably remain the true as he is approaching the end of his soccer career.
