I hope Google Chrome takes over IE because they will actually try to stick to the W3C standards unlike Microsoft has. It will be interesting to see how Firefox handles this new browser and if Mozilla incorporates any of the functionality from Chrome into Firefox.

The thing that confuses me with Chrome is that Google contributes money to Firefox and yet they make their own? I am not sure what their intent is on this new browser, but we will have wait and see.

For now I am going to keep using FF but will most probably change once they all my favourite plug-ins get added. Have downloaded Google Chrome and it is far less resource intensive and faster, but then it has no addons. I think FF was fast to start with.
I think Google is quite happy for microsoft to have their operating system for now as they are going to replace all apps online, who needs a hard drive when they can save everything online and access it via a browser, word documents, excel etc.
Google has much bigger plans then we know that is for sure.

@save and go green
I think they were trying to get a portion out of the IE users who also use google but I think it really didn’t work well for them. Just my own opinion though.

There is a folder in FF3 called chrome, its as if.. The introduction of the browser was inevitable for their success they are the web and why not have a Google browser. I will however continue to use Fire Fox as its got all the great plugins which I am sure will all be available shortly with Google Chrome. IE is in for quite the surprise.

Where have I been, I did not know that the browser was even out. Took me years to move from IE to FF and now I got to try Google. This browser from what you are saying is going to be far better then the both of these. Great post. Thanks Kweezel
