Miss Singapore Universe 2008 – Shenise Wong, 26, stands at 1.73m. She is also Miss Asia Pacific (1999), Miss International (2002) and Miss World (2005).
Shenise Wong edged out Malvina Kang, 1st runner-up, and Gayati Shunmugam, 2nd runner-up, to walk away with the crown. The other finalists were Alyssa Kokilah, Mandy Soong, Geraldine Quek, Jade Yip and Valerie Lim.
On July 14 2008, Shenise Wong will represent Singapore at Miss Universe 2008, the 57th Miss Universe beauty pageant, which will be held at the Diamond Bay Resort in Nha Trang, Vietnam.
