Candice Houlihan, a former stripper, has come forward claiming she had a brief affair with New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez and is lending her support to his soon-to-be ex wife Cynthia Rodriguez as she files for divorce.

Candice Houlihan, who claims she had sex twice with A-Rod in 2004, when his wife was pregnant with their first child, said “A leopard doesn’t change his spots. Good for her, I think she’s doing the smart thing. And she’ll probably get tons of cash.”

Candice Houlihan said she met A-Rod at a game in Fenway Park with her girlfriends. He introduced himself to her and told her that he was going to Saint, a bar in Boston, later and asked her to meet him there.

Candice Houlihan came to the bar where A-Rod appeared with a wedding ring on his finger, and after a few drinks, they went back to A-Rod’s Ritz-Carlton hotel room and had sex.

“It was killing me and I felt bad afterwards,” she said. “I’m not a bad person. I know how it feels to be cheated on, it sucks. But a couple of drinks later, I didn’t notice all that much, to tell you the truth.”

The next day, Candice Houlihan and her girlfriends searched Rodriguez on Google and she was shocked to find out that his wife was pregnant with their first child.

A-Rod called when he was in town for the American League Championship Series, and Candice Houlihan wasn’t freaked enough to blow him off. “He said he had a big game the next day. I like to say I helped us win,” she told the BH. “I reversed the curse!”

Candice Houlihan, now a hairdresser in Reading, Mass., was a pole dancer for five years, but never told A-Rod she danced at Centerfolds.

Alicia Marie, former New York fitness queen, is the latest to claim a close relationship with A-Rod after news that A-Rod’s wife, Cynthia Rodriguez, files for divorce.

Alicia Marie called Alex Rodriguez a “sweetheart” in an interview and insisted that while they have spent time alone at her apartment, they are just “close friends.”

Alex Rodriguez frequently visited her Chelsea apartment to lend a sympathetic ear “when I had just gone through a separation and divorce.” She added.

The divorce filing said the marriage is “irretrievably broken because of the husband’s extra-marital affairs and other marital misconduct.”

“Alex has emotionally abandoned his wife and children and has left her with no choice but to divorce him,” the petition said.

According to RadarOnline, the next issue of OK! magazine, out tomorrow, contains a story that claims stripper-loving slugger Alex Rodriguez and African child-loving singer Madonna are (maybe) having an affair.

OK! has learned the pop superstar and baseball great have been hanging out for months, as her relationship with her 39-year-old director hubby [Guy Ritchie] fizzled.
