A teenager was decapitated when struck by the popular “Batman the Ride” at a Six Flags amusement park ride, Over Georgia, U.S. on Sunday, 29th June 2008

Authorities said the 17-year-old boy Asia Leeshawn Ferguson of Springfield, South Carolina ignored numerous posted warning signs and scaled two fences to gain access to a restricted area where the roller coaster was running.

Witnesses said the teenager jumped the fences to retrieve a hat he lost while riding the Batman roller coaster, said Cobb County police Sgt. Dana Pierce.
