Oscar-winning Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie gave birth to twin, a boy and a girl by Caesarean section at the Lenval hospital in southern France on Saturday.

The boy, named Knox Leon, weighed 2.28 kg while her sister, Vivienne Marcheline, weighed 2.27kg. Marcheline was also the first name of Jolie’s mother, an actress, who died of cancer last year.

“The parents and the babies are in excellent health. Everything is fine,” Jolie’s doctor, Michel Sussmann, told Reuters. He said the c-section had been planned for a long time but the date was brought forward “for medical reasons.”

The doctor said Jolie was under epidural and was able to speak to a “perfectly calm” Pitt, 44, during the birth.

“They were very happy,” Sussmann said Pitt “was looking at what I was doing. He was my assistant. No, that’s a joke.”

Matthew McConaughey’s girlfriend Camila Alves gave birth to a boy on 7th July 2008 at 6:22 p.m. in Los Angeles. The baby boy weighs 7 lbs., 4 oz. “They’re so happy!” said a close friend of the actor.

In January, PEOPLE’s former Sexiest Man Alive, Matthew McConaughey, announced the couple were expecting on his website. “Camila and I made a baby together…,” he wrote at the time. “We are stoked and wowed.”

McConaughey’s oldest brother, Rooster, said “Oh, it’s going to be fun! He’ll make a really good dad because he’s got a lot of patience. I’m excited for him. It’s about time.”

Camila Alves, a model and handbag designer, said she plans to take time off once the baby arrives. “More important than anything is that I have a peaceful life and a peaceful home,” she said.

Coincidentally, Nicole Kidman also gave birth on the same day and Angelina Jolie will be giving birth soon.

The first rumor is that Senator Obama was actually born in Kenya. This rumor seems to have originated in an email stating Barack Obama’s mother was living in Kenya at the time of his birth and his mother took him to Hawaii to register the birth.

The second rumor is some kind of embarrassing name change. This rumor says Obama’s middle name was changed from Mohammed to Hussein or his first name from Barry to Barack.
