JuicyCampus.com is a web site that allow students to annonmously post gossip, rumours and rants about fellow classmates in United States colleges and universities.

A student at Colgate University has been arrested and charged this week with aggravated harassment after he made a post on JuicyCampus.com.

The police say that they “have to take that as seriously as possible.”

“I wonder if i could shut down the school by saying I’m going to shoot as many people as i can in my second class tomorrow. I hope I get more than 50,” 20-year-old George So wrote on Juicy Campus.

The Dead Man on UC Berkeley Campus has been identified as Berkeley resident Maceo Smith, 33, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene in Berkeley’s fifth homicide of the year.

A second victim in the shooting is being treated at Highland General Hospital for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Police are not saying how he is connected to the incident, but they said “he is a victim of a violent crime.” and neither Smith nor the second victim is affiliated with UC Berkeley.
