Obama Clinton McCainAt Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, Hillary Clinton criticized Obama’s health care plan for promising universal coverage to children but not adults.

However, Barack Obama, Democratic frontrunner, seemed to stop running against Hillary Clinton, his primary opponent and has focused on John McCain, the Arizona senator.

He rebuked McCain for supporting Bush’s “tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans,” a temporary halt to the federal gasoline tax and continued heavy U.S. presence in Iraq.

However, Clinton refuses to give up hope or disappear, and she is pleading for time and donations. “Give me your votes. This is no way over yet,” she said.

While Barack Obama camp conceded he’ll lose to Clinton in Tuesday’s West Virginia primary, it is hedging its bets on Oregon to help it seal the nomination.

On tuesday night, Barack Obama took at least 94 delegates to Mrs. Clinton’s 75 and leads the former First Lady by 176 delegates in the AP tabulation.

He has 1,840 out of the 2,025 delegates needed to win the Democratic nomination and needs only 185 – or 38% – of the 486 outstanding delegates (217 to be elected in the six remaining contests, and 269 superdelegates yet to endorse a candidate). Hillary Clinton needs 341, or 70% of those left to be awarded.

As such, Barack Obama is now the clear favorite to win the Democratic nomination for US Presidential Election.

Barack Obama beats Hillary Clinton by 7 votes in Guam’s nominating contest. After a marathon all-night counting session, Obama won 14 of the 21 districts in the remote US territory and finished with 2,264 votes to 2,257 for Clinton.

The next major contests for the Democratic nomination are on May 6 in North Carolina and Indiana. The two states have a combined 187 delegates at stake.

Neither Obama nor Clinton is likely to reach the 2,025 delegates needed to clinch the nomination without help from 796 “superdelegates” — party officials and insiders free to back any candidate.
