Help needed: I was molested by a friend while I was asleep.

Not me. This was the title of the post that Jean of Just Jean posted on 11th Jun 2008. The friend that she mentioned is John.

Jean posted “Help needed: I was molested by a friend while I was asleep“:

I had been keeping this inside me for the longest time and I guess today’s when all hell break lose. This had been haunting me since last year and I feel so trapped by it. I made a police report but was told that there was nothing they could do. In short, the guy had the thrill of his life and got away scot free.

On 19th Jun 2008, AsiaOne posted “Molested? You asked for it“:

When Amy(not her real name) recounted on her blog on how she had been molested by a male trusted friend during a trip to South Korea, she had only wanted to vent out the frustration and helplessness from that ordeal.

Never did she expect that it would spark a flurry of nasty comments from netizens who had read her post.

On the same day, The NewPaper posted “She let me hug her“:

HE courted her for more than two years, and offered to help her pay off a study loan of more than $48,000. He even once confessed his love for her.

He claims that he then hugged her with her consent.

But their friendship has gone sour after she accused him of allegedly molesting her on a trip to South Korea last October.

Note: Amy was used instead of Jean and Jim was used instead of John.

What do you think of Jean and John after reading their story?

Should Jean shout for molest? Should Jean returned the $48k to John?

John McCain“A leader we can believe in” is John McCain new slogan? Well, that is John McCain’s latest speech titled “A Leader we can believe in”.

Here is what John McCain said:

“The American people didn’t get to know me yesterday, as they are just getting to know Senator Obama,” McCain said. “They know I have a long record of bipartisan problem-solving. They’ve seen me put our country before any president, before any party, before any special interest, before my own interest.”

“He is an impressive man who makes a great first impression,” McCain said. “But he hasn’t been willing to make the tough calls, to challenge his party, to risk criticism from his supporters, to bring real change to Washington. I have.”

“I opposed it because I know we won’t achieve energy independence by repeating the mistakes of the last half-century. That’s not change we can believe in,” McCain said, once again evoking Obama’s campaign theme, “Change we can believe in.”
