Dolly Read, born in Bristol, England on 13th September 1944, is an English pinup model and actress.

Dolly Read, aka Margaret Read, Dolly Read Martin, or Dolly Martin, is Playboy magazine Playmate of the Month May 1966 and is best remembered as the lead character in Beyond the Valley of the Dolls.

Dick Martin, co-created and co-hosted Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In in the 1960s, died Saturday night of respiratory complications at a hospital in Santa Monica, family spokesman Barry Greenberg said.

“He had had some pretty severe respiratory problems for many years, and he had pretty much stopped breathing a week ago,” Greenberg said.

Dick Martin, 86, was surrounded by family and friends when he died just after 6 p.m., Greenberg said.
