Robert Mondavi, born in 18th June 1913 was the most influential American winemaker who turns California into a world-class wine producer and millions of Americans into wine lovers.
Mondavi died, today at the age of 94, peacefully at his home in Yountville.
“It is hard to imagine anyone having more of a lasting impact on California’s $20 billion-a-year wine industry than Robert Mondavi,” Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said.
