Timothy Wright, 61 year old Gospel singer and pastor, remains in critical but stable condition at a Pennsylvania hospital and will undergo surgery, to repair a fractured jaw, on 17th July 2008, according to his spokesman. He also suffered a fractured ankle, leg, neck and ribs.

Pastor Timothy Wright was severely injured in a horrific car crash on July 4 that killed his wife Betty Wright, 58, and 14-year-old grandson, D.J. Wright.

Pastor Timothy Wright has still not been told that both his wife Betty Wright and grandson D.J. Wright have died.

All his five sons are said to be waiting till the pastor’s condition improves before breaking the tragic news about his beloved wife and grandson.

D.J. Wright, 14, the grandson of the Rev. Timothy Wright, died Saturday evening, a nursing supervisor at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville said

The car accident that caused Timothy Wright to be critically injured, has also killed her wife, Betty Wright, and the driver, John Pick, drove the wrong-way on eastbound Interstate 80 and struck the Wrights’ vehicle head-on.

Pastor Timothy Wright remains in critical condition.

Timothy Wright, 61 year old Gospel singer and pastor, was critically injured in a crash on Friday in central Pennsylvania.

Betty Wright, his 58 year old wife, was killed in the crash. His grandson D.J. Wright was critically injured as well.

The driver of the wrong-way car, John Pick, 44, of Lewisburg, also died, police said.

Timothy Wright is the pastor at Grace Tabernacle Christian Center in New York City.

He has released more than a dozen gospel recordings, and his latest album, “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus,” came out last year.
